This Day. The messenger sent by the expelled Natives to Te Whiti had returned. Te Whiti's orders are that the Natives ai-e to proceed with the. ploughing, and if they get ill-used, their ploughs broken, or black eyes received, they are not to mind that. It must not stop them m the God's work. The settlers fully expect that the Natives will return shortly m large numbers, as the Maories are quite confident that Te Whiti's power is all-protecting. •
