This Day. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency report, under date of London, February 19th ; — "Wool sales opened yesterday with a level with last sales, and comprise about 250,000 bales. 20,000 bales have been sent to the manufacturing districts direct. The opening catalogue contained 19,000 bales. The Continental demand is good, but the home trade is purchasing sparingly, (Superior greasy firm ; crossbreds easier. Trade in the manufacturing districts unchanged. Sales will close on the 17th March."
