Sydney, February 1 The man Arthur Campbell, who was found wounded m the Domain still lives. He denies having attempted to commit suicide.
Melrourne, February 1. Governor Bo wen will lay the foundation stone of the Exhibition Building m Carlton gardens, before leaving Victoria.
Adelaide, February 1. Parliament has been further prorogued to March 4th. Letters patent have been refused to the University until the degrees are assimilated to Sydney, Melbourne, and New Zealand Universities. The Chief Secretary stated to a deputation that the depreciation m South Australian bonds was caused by a supposition that the Democratic principles of Victoria were shared by South Australians.
