London, Undated. The Roumanians have been informed that Austria is ready to place 50,000 men on the Russian frontier as a sanitary cordon. They will permit Russians to return into Russia from Bulgaria, but will forcibly resist any crossing the mountains into Bulgaria. The new Trial m the Bagot will case, has concluded. Judgement was reserved. The Bank of England has lowered the rate of discount to 1 per cent. Gambetta will probably be President of the Chamber of Deputies. A New Zealand Agricultural Company has been announced with a capital of one million.
