GIRLS’ CLUB.

The opening day of the Girls’ Club proved to be a most satisfactory and interesting function, the attendance being good,, and the interest keen. This, we should say, is a fore-runner of a successful year. The members of the club intend holding a picnic at Mr. IT. Davis’ .on Thursday next, when we hope fair weather will be the order of the day.

The following loflieers for the ensuing year have been elected: —President, Miss P. Cleaver; vice-president, Miss M. Johnston; secretary, Miss L. Wilkins; treasurer, Miss Myra Anderson; registrars, Misses Alice Hickford and Thelma Aiken; librarians, Misses Margery and Edna Davis.
