BOYS’ SUMMER CAMP
AT TUEAKIXA. A hoy«’ summer camp, under the control of the Y.M.0.A., is to be hold on the beautiful property owned and kindly lent by Air. B. P. Lethbridge, of 'Turakina, from December 27 to January 1(5. The property is quite close to tlic Turakina station and is ideal for camping. Air. Lethbridge has also kindly granted the association the use of the -camp equipment erected by him, this including a proper roofed barn for a mess tout and for the holding of concerts, and meetings of every description and shelters for sleeping in, so that parents need have no fear of the boys having wet quarters, ; yUPEEV.ISIOX. The camp will be under the personal control of the general secretary of the association, Air. Daniel D. Alilligan, who will be assisted by a staff of leaders, Every precaution will be taken to prevent accident or sickness. The camp is conducted with as few rules as possible, the two major ones being; (1) no firearms of any kind allowed; (2) no one shall bathe except at specified times and then only when a senior is in charge. CAMP TIME-TABLE. A regular time-table will be followed each day. It will include an early morning exercise period, swimming, Jishing, emblem tests, expeditious, cricket, and football, concerts, and stunt nights, camp-lire yarns and talks, water sports, and land sports, Sunday services. APPLICATION TOll 'EXEOLAIEXT. All boys who intend coming into camp should register at the Y.M.G.A. office, Wanganui, without delay. All application forms must bo signed and sent iu with 2s (id deposit by Saturday, December 8. Xo boy will be allowed in camp for less than one week except in the case of employed boys. The camp week begins on Thursdays, and all boys entering eunip are expected to arrive on that day' of the week.
