VEHICLE FALLS OVEh’ CLIFF. ALAN, WIFE AND CHILL' DEAL. Throe people were killed in a motor accident on the Manilla Hill, near Coromandel during the week-end. A car driven iby W. Wilson left the road, rolling- a considerable distance and being damaged bcj'ond repair. The killed are:— ' W. Wilson, senior. Mrs. William Wilson. Jessie Wilson, daughter of Mrs. Wilson, aged 2 years. The injured are: William Wilson who suffered injuries to the shoulder and shock, C. fcj. Carroll, who received fractured ribs. Margaret Wilson, aged (5, -who has slight injuries. The car was returning to Thames, the occupants having visited Mr. Frank ■Shepard, manager of the Hauraki mine. W. Wilson is a foreman at Price’s foundry at Thames. The driver thought he heard another car coming and pulled out toward the bank. The wheels got into the watertable and he was forced to speed up, with the result that the car left the road.
