WAVERLEY ASSEMBLIES

A meeting was held in the Town Board room on Friday, Ala re h 25. Present: Alessrs. Geo. Spruit, W. Andrews, H. ,S. Hewetson, A. G. -Mitchell, J. S. Crawford, R. Al. Cathie, W. B. Robertson, P. G. Bremer, and Dr. Graves. Mr. Geo. Spruit presided. The resignation of Air. R. M. Cathie, secretary, was accepted with regret, a vole of thanks being passed for his past services. Mr. H. S. Hewotson was elected to 1111 the vacancy. It was decided that the assemblies be carried on as usual, the dates for the dances being Alay 13. Juno 17, and July 22, and that the subscription be the sumo as last year. It was resohed that if the Patea assemblies are not being held an invitation be extended to them to join Waverley. The following committee was formed: —Alessrs. Jas. Robertson, F. R. Palmer, W. Andrews, P. G. Bremer, AL P. Bremer, Al. Hockley, Alex. Alexander, Gordon Wills, D. .McGregor, AY. B. Robertson, B. W. Harvey, Clms. Southcombe, S. Bosley, J. R. Ale William, F. Mitchell, A. G. Mitchell, E. L. Craig, Geo. Spratt, J. S. Crawford, and Dr. Graves. Air. P. G. Bremer was elected chairman ami Alessrs. Gordon Wills, Alex. Alexander, AY. B. Robertson, and Geo. Spratt AI.C. ’.s. A meeting of ladies was called for April 5, and a vote of thanks passed for their work during the past year.
