NOTES
It is with (loop and sincere regret t)iat wc have to record the death of .Mr. John Muir, which took place last evening, after a painful illness lasting over a month. Wc join with their many friends in tendering the sorrowing widow and family our deep sympathy in their bereavement. The funeral will leave the late residence of the deceased to-morrow (Thursday) af--1 ternoon.
