The annual estimates of the Town Board appear in another column of this issue. A reminder is given of Mr. D. Coghill's clearing sale of household furniture and effects which Mcsrs Bennett and Harding arc holding on Friday next. Full particulars will be found in another column. In to-day's issue an announcement appears informing the Waverlcy public that a rare treat is in store for them OH Tuesday night next, when the great film-pantomime "Jack and the Beanstalk" will be screened.
Messrs Muir & Son have a replace advertisement in this issue with regard to boys' and youths' overcoats. The firm has a fine range of coats to choose from, and the prices are most reasonable when the quality of the ■.roods offered is taken into consideration.
The members of the Waverley branch of the X. Z. Farmers' Union intend paying their annual visit to the State Farm on Tuesday next, 24th inst., when all farmers arc invited to be present and join the party. The inspection of the farm will commence at i p.m. sharp. Mr. Fenton Dalton has returned to Waverley after an absence of about twelve years. It will be remembered that Mr. Dalton left Waverley for America to further his studies in the dentistry profess ; cn. During the Mexican revolution he joined up with the forces and served with them for some •imc. He returned to New Zealand about three years ago and alien.--: :
