CRICKET.
The following have been selected to represent the Patea Cricket Club in the match against Waverley on Saturday : Campbell (2), H. Gower, Jacomb (senr), Jollie, T. Jones, Kitsan, Newton (capt), Spooner, S. Taplin and Williamson. Playars are to meet at the Railway Station on Saturday and proceed by the morning train to Waverley, as play will commence at 11 o’clock, sharp.^ A practice will be held on Friday afternoon, at which all players are requested to be present.
