WHOLESALE POISONING AT CHRISTCHURCH.
[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION,J CHRISTCHURCH, June 3. Five children in a family at Sydenham were taken violently ill last night after partaking of a meal of now bread, butter, cheese, and tea. They were attended by Dr Thomas, and are all considered out of danger. It is considered that some of the food might have been poisoned, and the police are inquiring into the matter.
