(Received June 3, 1.15 a.m.) The scries of hosts of distinguished English Statesmen, which have been executed for the Sydney Art Gallery, by Mr Woolner, R.A., is now completed, and the statues will bo shipped to Australia at once. Xtiiifi’ of Denmark accepts position of Arbitrator on Question. The Daily News to-day stales that King Christian, of Denmark; has been a requested by England to arbitrate that Country and Russia on ■ the Afghan question, and His Majesty has consented to act in that capacity.
