THE DUNEDIN MURDERER.

George Timothy Stevenson, who has become notorious in connection with the Dunedin tragedy, is (says the NZ Times ) well known in Wellington, having passed his early years there,and there are hundreds of his old schoolmates who regret the sad termination of hi ß career. His father, Timothy Stevenson, was in business in Wellington. Thomas Dwan and Co now occupy the premises formerly Stevenson’s store. Mr Stevenson, sen, has been many years a commercial traveller in the colony, but has now settled in Sydney, where he went some time last year with his wife and family.
