SCHOOL INSPECTION.

The results of the Inspector’s examination of our public school will be found below. They must be considered to reflect credit upon the teachers and the scholars also. They show that while on one hand there has been the ability to teach there has on the other been equal readiness to be taught, and the result is the large percentage of passes amongst those presented for examination. The parents have every reason to be gratified at the progress made.in the school. In the few remarks he addressed to the children on Wednesday, the Inspector took occasion to say that in adding up the marks gained by the scholars he could hardly believe his eyes. In one. instance, and the only one in the Educational district, the arithmetic paper had been cleared, and it was worth noting that it was a girl (Miss Kate Harden; who had done it. We think when the Inspector’s report comes to hand it will be found that he has some very complimentary remarks upon both scholars and teachers at Pa tea schools.
