The following steamships, belonging to the Orient Steam Navigation Company (Limited), and the Pacific Steam Navigation Company, will leave Melbourne at the undermentioned dates for Adelaide and London, via the Suez Canal and Naples:— Orient tons 5386... Sailed Cotopaxi 4028... Sailed Lusitania 3828... Sailed Liguria 4666... Sailed Garonne 3876... Sailed John Elder 4152... August 24 Chimborazo 3847... September? Potosi 4219... September 21 Sorata 4014... Octobers Cuzco And the service will be maintained by succeeding steamers at intervals of a fortnight. Fares to London, £l6 to £6O guineas ; Suez Canal dues, 8s in addition. Passages granted in Melbourne by BRIGHT BROS, and CO. rjIORRES STRAITS LINE Steam to Europe, India, China, Japan, and all Queensland Ports. One of the Company’s steamers leaves Sydney every four weeks for Singapore and Hong Kong under mail contract, connecting at Singapore with the P. and 0. Co. and Messagerics Maritimes steamers for India and Europe (Via Suez). Passengers booked at through rates to Queensland, Europe, and Eastern Ports. Tea and other cargo booked in Hong Kong at through, rates to all New Zealand Ports fortranshipment to Union Com pany’s steamers. Sydney.
