The “Herald” features this column of particular interest to women in Pahiatua and in every part of the extensive district in which this paper circulates. TRIED RECIPE LEMON CRUMB PUDDING 2 cups milk, 2 cups breadcrumbs, I teaspoon salt, Lcup sugar, 1 egg, grated rind of 1 lemon, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon melted butter. Pour milk over fine breadcrumbs and salt and sugar, well beaten egg, grated lemon rind, lemon juice and melted butter. Pour into buttered taking disk and bake in slow oven 40 imnutes.
