NEW BRITISH MINISTER

ARRIVES IN ALGIERS, ( British Official Wireless. I RUGBY, Jan 4 Mr Harold MacMillan, the new member of the British Cabinet arrived at Algiers by plane on Saturday to take up his uew ministerial duties. On Sunday be had a long interview with General Eisenhower. Mr MacMillan told correspondents that liis duties were to assist Mr Murphy in advising General Eisenhower on any political or inonomic questons. (Mr Harold MacMillan, was recently called to Mr ChuiehilTs Cabinet as Resident Minister in. North-West Africa.)
