PAHIATUA STOCK SALE
MEDIUM PRICED LAMBS. Lambs were offered, in large lots at Paliiatiia salt* today, prices ranging from 17s 9d (2 lots» 17s 7d »4 lots), 17s (id (1 lot) 16s, down to 1 0s lod. Offerings were from Pongaroa, Mangaramarama. Ngaturi, Pori. Maugatainoka. and Kumeroa. A total of 2,810 wer© offered to a bench of buyers representing an extremely wide district. Only a few pen© were near buyers’ standards and demand lor these was keen blit the majority were from liill country runs with a known reputation for fast thriving lambs. Two boilers were passed in at Co 5s and store pigs faded to attract a bench which wa.s predominantly representative of sboep country
