WORKING GANGER'S REPORT
TO PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL. The working ganger (.Mr T. Clarke) presented the following report to Alonday’s Borough Council meeting; ••Drainage connection has been installed to Air Davies’ property in George Street. Water connection has been laid to Alessrs Hunt and Bengston’s properties in Tudor Road; length of water extension 13 chains. Tar patching has been carried out in Alangaliao Road and on footpaths in Tui. Wakeman, Huxley, King, Albert, Alain and Cambridge Streets. Blocked drain has been cleared at Air Baker’s property in Tiraumea Road. W a ter connection ' lias been installed to Air Griffiths’ property in Tyndall Street. The baths were cleaned on two occasions during the month. An inspection of • leaking taps in the Borough has been carried out and several taps i have been repaired. Two sumps in Alain Street have been cleaned out. j Shoulders from the road in Tui Street have been cleaned and trimI med. The truck has been engaged J carting sand to the Balfour Estate : nid delivering tar. sand and clay to ! the Cemetery. The reservoir has ; been inspected twice weekly and the j settling pans have been cleaned out.
