The Bush Association has only recently been admitted to the Southern Hawke’s Bay Association and this win will do much lo stimulate interest in the

game in the Pahiatua district. While the weather was threatening, and, in fact, rain did bring the match Lo an early close, the Bush captain, C. Gallon, risked a gamble when he won the toss and sent. Dannevirke in to bat. The decision proved a wise one, for J. JVlcKay and K. Montgomery soon made short work of the opposition. McKay’s figures were 7 wickets for 2d and Montgomery 3 for 23.
