Severe burns to the body arms and legs, .iml shock wen* suffered bv a factory hand. C. McDonald, of Mapuia road, Miramar, at about noon fc-day. McDonald had been working in an eruptite explosives factory in Park road and his clothes had become covered in chlorate of potash. Later he went into the street where n. spark from a cigarette ignited his clothing. The Free Ambulance took bun to hospital. His condition was reported to-night to be unchanged.
