The Rome correspondent of the News-Chronicle says it is understood that the general terras of the agreement drawn up include the exchange of information regarding the strength and disposition of all forces in the Alediterranean and Red Sea, which has already begun, also that neither will increase the fortifications in the Mediterranean and Red Sea. although both will retain the existing fortifications. Britain refused an Italian request for naval parity in the Alediterranean.
