SILVER WEDDING

MR. AND MRS. A. J. PERRY OF RONGOMAI On Thursday last some forty relatives and friends from surrounding districts and as far afield as Dannevirke, and Feiidmg assembled at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Peiry, Rongomai on the occasion f their silver wedding anniversary. A most enjoyable evening was spent progressive bridge and at its conclusion Mrs. Perry- cut a large two-tier cake, made by ber twn hands and beautifully decorated by Miss B. Tlompso.i. Mr. J. S. Tripe, i u a neat speech offered the congratulations of those present, referring to the fact that many had been guests fft the wedding twenty-five years agoMr. and Mrs. Perry were the recipients of many tokens of esteem including a crystal necklace from the children.
