PRAISE FOR RAILWAYS
FROM GRATEFUL TRAVELLERS. Since the beginning of this year numerous letters of commendation have been received at Rail ways Head Office from various organisation* that have experienced the comfort and courtesy of travel by the Department’s rail and road services. The Rjotary Conference, Bov Scouts and Wellington Amateur Rowing Association are some of the societies who have written eulogistic ally A number of other grateful patrons were from overseas and. these miicht ravel led people have expressed surprise at the extent and general excellence of our National Transport system. One lady (a visitor from Ireland) states that, in all her travels, she has seen nothink anywhere to compare* with the child rum’s nursery at Wellington’s modern station.
