Play was of a standard seldom seen in Sydney. The manager of the New Zealand team, Mr R. Gracie, at the conclu- ! sion of the game, said the exhibition j was a complete answer to» Australian < critics who, earlier in the tour, said j the present team was not up to the j standard of previous New Zealand j elevens.
