OBITUARY.
AIR. LIONEL NELSON. The death occurred at Suva on Monday of Air Lionel Nelson, of Wellington, as the result of blood poisoning caused bv a slight cut received while on a holiday trip. He was managing-director of J- •>. Niven and Co.. Ltd. The late Mr Nelson was a member of the well-known Hawke's Bay family, being a son of the late Mr Wm. Nelson, of “Waikoko,” Toinoana, one of the pioneers of the meat freezing industry, and a brother of Air W *’H. Nelson, of Woodville, and Air CL Nelson, of Havelock North. Ho had resided in Wellington since 1913 when he became managingdirector of J. J. Niven and Co., Ltd. Air Nelson was a man of attractive personality and was greatly esteemed by the staff of J. J. Niven and Co. His death c-ame as a great shock to his many friends. He was buried at Suva.
