D. TREJVATHAN’S SCORING. D. Trevathan, who plays first five-eighth for Otago, has scored 73 points this season in matches for the Ranfurly Shield, and 204 in club and inter-provincial games for Southern and Otago. His total of points for shield games is a record for one season, the previous best being 58 by A. K. Grenside for Hawke’s Bay in 1926. Trevathan is a. verj accurate place-kick from both long and short range, and also a smart potter of goals. His record for Otago in the past three seasons is marked by consistency.
