LAMB PRICES FIRM. MUTTON UNCHANGED. Lamb market: Steady with prices firm. Consumption continues satisfactory. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes firm with prices unchanged. Beef market: Frozen beef uu- , changed. Chilled beef firmer. New Zealand porker pigs: Market steady and unchanged. New Zealand baconer pigs: Nominal owing to short spot stocks. The above report was received on Saturday by the Meat Board from its London office, which advises that tile following are the approximate average prices realised for the week, based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of fche goods offering during the week, being for business on the basis of de-i livered to Smithfield market and/or ex London stores.
