MINIATURE RIFLES.
MANOAMUTU CLUB. On Thursday the Mangamutu Club tiled out the new small bulls-eye targets (with rather disastrous results- it their weekly shoot when a -•If handicap trophy competition for the best three out of four shoots was find. Under these conditions shooters assess their own handicaps and should the total score exceed the possible the shooter is penalised two points for every one in excess of the possible. Only the first two shots are ’scoped and shooters are kept in ignorance of their scores until the end of each -hoot. The competition attracted much interest end in every ease competitors over-estimated their ability, b. J. Heayns and J. 11. Thomson returning the best score piece. Sec>r< s reci rded were: L. J.
