Forty-eight hours after making the featherweight limit for a title bout whieh did not eventuate, Clarrie Rnyner (Blenheim) to-night met Alf Reekie (Australia) in a lightweight contest. The match, scheduled for 15 rounds, ended unsatisfactorily. In the third round Reekie claimed a foul. Tho referee, Mr F. O'Neill, Greymouth, ordered him to continue and when he refused awarded Raynor the decision. A doctor who examined Reekie said he discovered no evidence of a foul.
