As a sequel to a voung Maori woman, Beta Tarikura Bailey, a resident o| Puteki Pa, being gashed in the face with a safety razor blade in Victoria. Avenue on the afternoon February Bth, Maiangi Utiku Marumaru. a married woman, of Bulls, was charged with committing grievous bodily harm. She pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court +'or sentence.
