USED AS A HUNTER. Mr T. A. Duncan recently received advice from H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester that 4ie had hunted his gift horse Silent Bill, and the New Zealander had pleased him very much. The Canterbury Jockey Club, by the way, has applied to the conference for permission to stage the race for the Duke of Gloucester Cup.
