WHEAT CONTROL.

CANADA S EXPERIMENT. DESCRIBED AS “SPECTACULAR GAMBLE.” (Received 11.30 a.nx.) United Press Assn.—By Electric T elegraph—Oo] »v rigjrt. OTTAWA, February 13. Canada’s wheat control venture under the late Bennett Government was described in the House of Commons as the world’s most spectacular gamble and will be investigated by a special committee of Commons, Mr Ouler announced during a heated debate. He stated that the Government inherited two hundred million dollars committment from the John T. McFarland Board, which operated under Air Bennett’s orders to buy and hold. The new board sold 65,000,000 bushels in the first six weeks without crashing world prices under orders to sell. Conservatives contend McFarland’s dismissal was unjustified.
