AN AUCKLAND VIEW. Electric Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, February 13. In his address- at the annual meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce this afternoon the retiring president (Mr Gainor Jackson) said the Government s announcement to* reduce the exchange rate in small graduations was causing concern to business men. He felt with Hon. V . Dow me Stewart that "We are up a gum-tree and it i> going to lie diiiicult to get down.”
