SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISON
MENT United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ADELAIDE. February 11. Arthur Nelson Durrant. aged 22 who was arrested on September 30 and charged with having murdered Ills employer. Mr Hugh Forbes, a larmer. aged 45. Mrs Forbes, aged 40, anu their daughter Jove©, aged 16 (who were found buried in a manure heap on Forint’ farm). was sentenced to imprisonment tor life with hard labour. Durrant had pleaded guilty to manslaughter when charged with having murdered Joyce Forbes. Durrant was found not guilty on the ground of insanity when charged some weeks ago with having murdered Mr Hugh Forbes, father of J oyce.
