Airs Rising senr. was taken suddenly- ill on Sunday evening last and her friends will he glad to know that she is now making good progress towards recovery.

Air and Airs A. Eddie are absent on a visit to Afastertcn.

The small son of Mr and Mrs O Garlick was removed to. hospital on Monday morning after a short illness and it was found necessary to perform an operation at once. It is pleasing to report that the little chap is progressing satisfactorily. Mr and Mrs N. "Davis, of Wanganui. are the guests of Air and Airs O. Sioinnta.g. Mr and Mrs F. G. Ebbett and family are on a holiday at Taupe.
