DIAMOND WEDDING.

MR. AND MRS. R. C. TENNENT. Mr and Mrs R C. Tennent, of McLean Street, Woodville, who celebrated their diamond wedding over the week-end, were honoured by their family on Sunday at the* residence of their daughter (Mrs P. Mules), when a luncheon party was given, at which sixty-two members of the family were present. Both Mr and Mrs Tennent are wellknown and respected residents of Woodville and the esteem and love in which they are held was evidenced by the numerous messages they have received. Relatives were present from all ever Xew Zealand and the opportunity was taken to renew old i rfe nd ships. At the luncheon party, which was hel.d oil Sunday, the beautiful cake hel.d a prominent position, and all tho guests sat down to a bounteous repast.
