VANDALISM ON GOLF LINKS.

The Pupute golf Milks suffered as a result of vandalism of an unusual tvpe during last week-end (says the New Zealand Herald!. It was discovered that the pins supporting the flags on several of the greens had been smashed and deep indentations made in the vicinity of the holes. Li addition, a fairly large amount of blue metal had been carried from the adjoining East Coast Road and scattered on both greens and fairways, necessitating a considerable amount of work before the lawn mower could be used ou the ground.
