TRENDS AT BRISBANE SALES. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, August 21. The wool sales yesterday yielded an all-round average of £l4 a bale. Greasy descriptions made to and scoureds to 24£d. Some buyers were quiet, taking stock of the situation. One German purchaser said: “We want wool, but we also want the money with which to purchase it. The finance difficulty, particularly on the Continent, is bound to cause restricted buying,” he added.
