The sale of racing and breeding stock at Randwiek to-day included several prominent racehorses. Tom Pinch was bought by H. Abrahams for 270 guineas, Shakuni by E. Shaw, Adelaide, for 325 guineas ; Kagal by M. Sawyer for 370 guineas; Fleet- Caravel by !1. Afoore for 210 guineas ; Jaccuse by AA r . Pratt for 140 guineas; Alaltdale by G. Shott for 250 guineas ihe brood mare Boundary, by Valais, was purchased by Air Hunter AVhite for 1 / 0 guineas, and J. J. McGrath. New Zealand bought the brood mare Humorada, by Comedy King, for 80 guineas. RECENT A.J.C. MEETING. SYDNEY 7 , April 9. The Sydney Morning Herald says that the four days’ autumn racing carnival of the A.J-.C. at Randwiek was most successful, and proved conclusively that the turf in New South Wales is again definitely on the upward trend The attendance for the four days was 10,000 more than that of the corresponding meeting last year, and the totalisator investments showed a, big increase.
