DROWNING ACCIDENT.
FATALITY NEAR AUCKLAND
Electric Telegraph—Press Associatio AUCKLAND. April 9. Edward G. Elliott, a married man aged 08, was drowned while fishing off Buckland’s Beach this morning. Calls were heard for help, and a boat put out and rescued. Mr Elliott from the water, but he could not be revived. He was a wellknown resident in the district and. was formerly a prominent sharebroker in Auckland, retiring m 1921.
