Parents and scholars, as well as several friends, attended the Sunday School picnic at the railway bridge last Friday. Games, swimming and a race programme filled in the dav aiid the ladies provided a plentiful lunch and afternoon tea. Aliss R. Leith presented each scholar with a wall text and thanked all who had helped to make the picnic such a success. The races were won by the following:—Boys' flat race, over lO years; Desmond Udy 1, Jack Goodin 2. Boys, under 10: W. Bartosh I, Buster Goodin 2. Girls, over 10: Nancy Harrington 1, Ethne Wenham 2.
