PAHIATUA SHOW.

Late entries for the Pahiatua Show will be accepted up till 8 o’clock on Saturday evening. A very large entry came to hand yesterday for the sheep classes from outside exhibitors, Southdown classes being mostly favoured. The entries for the jumping competitions and hack classes are surprisingly good, being the best for years. It was inadvertently stated in Tuesday’s issue that “the dog trial will be held.” This should read “will not be held.” As previously announced this course of action was necessary owing to the Association being unable to obtain the necessary sheep for the competition.
