The funeral yesterday afternoon of the late Mr .John Francis Treder. of Konini, whose death followed an accident on Ridge Road, was very largely attended there being many present from the Waimrapa where deceased formerly lived The services at the Roman Catholic Church, Pahiatua. and at- the guaveside, were conducted bv the Rev. Father A. Dohertv. of Eketahuna. assisted by the Rev. Father M. Cashman, o-f Pahiatua. The pall-bearers were Messrs t> Brosnahan. A. Mahoney. I). M Conway, M. Connor. A. Emerson (Masterton) and G. Harris (Wellington). Many lovely floral emblems were placed on the graveside.
