“DON’T BE IN A HURRY.” Electric Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. “During my visit to England, I was askeu questions as to the Government's* intention regarding the exchange rate,” said Mr Forbes. “I told them the Government had acted as it had done in order to restore equilibrium for the farming or exporting industries and there would he a gradual reduction of exchange as the beneficial effects of the Government’s policy were felt. I discussed this question with bankers at Home and they said to me: Don’t be in a hurry to bring it down.”
