REFRIGERATOR SELLING

In a statement to the “Editor and Publisher” in January last the Xorge Corporation, of Chicago, stated that newspapers will constitute the backbone of Norge refrigerator advertising effort for 1933. The bulk of the appropriation will be spent for space in dailies, it was revealed here last week at one of a national series of 49 distributor-dealer meetings. Factory executives, in outlining this year’s sales programme, emphasised increased advertising schedules. The company had a successful year in 1932 and plans to push sales further this year. Norge newspaper advertising will be placed at the factory’s order m 366 cities. In addition, mats are to be provided so that distributors and dealers may carry, over the signatures, Norge advertising. This dis-tributor-dealer copy is paid for cooperatively by himself and the distributor.
