£1034 DAMAGES AWARDED. Electric Telegraph—Tress Association CHRISTCHURCH. August 23. Special ancl general damages amounting to £1034 14s 6d were awarded by the jury in the Supreme Court to-day to Violet Blanche' Larsen, who, while riding a bicycle, was injured in an accident last October it the corner of Papanui Road and Bea •ley Avenue. There was a collision between a motor-ear, driven by George ilazey, and a motor-cycle ridden by Edward Pick-up, and m a ear at, almost the same instant struck was Miss Larsen.
