FAT SHEEP IN DEMAND.
At the Gisborne sale a small entry -fob sheep met keen compelicion, ana prices advanced. Ewes made 10s, 13s lOd to 14s, many being above 12s. Lambs and. wethers: 'Practically none offering. Second grade ewes jumped, selling to 10s 7d. The store sheep entry numbered 3000. It was a buoyant sale. Breeding ewe s' were in demand, and values were maintained. Hoggets also wore lively, values advancing. Beef was firm. Good cows made 60s to- 655. The goow growth of pastures and outside competition is stimulating business.
