MEETING OF THE CLANS.
GATHERING AT PAJLAIERSTON. Tartans of many clans were worn at a gathering of Scottish clans in the Empire Hall, Palmerston North. The gathering, which is stated to be the first of its kind in the Dominion, was successful from every point of view, and attracted a large attendance from all portions of New Zealand. The gathering was held under the auspices of the Alanawatu Scottish Society. Among the guests present was Air P. AlcKenzie, of Wellington, one of the founders of the society.
